The Mystique is a two pole, non-freestanding tent and is the most lightweight model in our line. But just because it is lightweight does not mean that we've cut any corners or left out any ideal features. The Mystique comes equipped with #8 zippers, factory sealed fly and floor seams, and two mesh doors for great ventilation and easy entry and exit. The weatherproof fly provides a vestibule over each door and has a vent that you can keep open or closed. So if weight is an issue and quality is a must, there's no better choice than the Mystique. I would rate this a 4.5 - bought this tent last fall, this one with the orange fly is newer (pretty sure).- It is roomy. You could fit two in a pinch, but hopefully you are a couple if you share the tent. Inside is big enough to get changed and sit up. Just big enough to not feel like a solo tent, but light enough for solo packing.- The vestibules are on each side and just big enough for some gear.- It is not free standing, but easy to pitch as long as you get the hang of the planting stakes first. Setup slowly first time and you'll get the hang of it quickly for subsequent setups. It is fast after you get it.- I recommend using a ground cloth.- A bit over 4 pounds in pack, but worth the weight.- Very well constructed.- Use vent at top for condensation and just for air circulation.- Has mesh doors and fly comes near the ground.- Tent stakes are pretty good not flimsy. You will need all of these.- Aluminum poles.- Doors on both sides.I used this recently to sleep outside and came in the next morning- really testing it out. It rained a couple of inches. The tent was dry. It is very stable in the wind with guy lines. I am 6 feet, 190 and very comfortable with a sleeping pad and bag. I have compared this with a number of tents- it compares favorably against them all. Beating many of the more expensive tents handily for its in between size, plus packability. I wouldn't be afraid to take this in light snow even. It is just stable and well-made.4.5 is three reasons:- Not freestanding- though I did expect this- Zippers are good, but on the fly they seem to get caught a bit too often, but easy to get loose. Never snagged or tough to get unstuck.- A tad bit heavy, but still very portable and trail worthy.None of these are deal breakers and this is tent is well-made to withstand many conditions. Great size in between the 2 person and solo tent. Packable. Solid purchase.

I took this tent out on a week long backpacking trip and was able to pick out the pros and cons pretty easily.Pros- Kept me and my gear under vestibules dry after rain storm, small enough to fit in tight spots, fairly easy to set up, easily detachable rain fly, and was really roomy with me and my backpack.Cons- Not much ventilation, not freestanding, not quick to set up, and vestibules are a too small to fit backpack under.Overall i would definitely recommend this tent to anyone in the price range, if not get something free standing!!
