I assume you know what you are getting in for here. This is a limited use tent for emergency or very temporary uses. I can't imagine using it more than once or twice, but that use may save your life or give your kids a little joy. It comes with a cord to string it up, but assumes you have trees or a fence or something to use to string the thing up. You will need to use a sleeping bag or shoes or rocks or something in the corners of the tube if you want it to look triangular like in the picture. Beware of not stringing it up and closing off the ends of the tent where you are sleeping, since you could easily cut off your air supply, especially in an ice storm. By that same token, it could be used as a water vapor barrier in a sleeping bag in extremely cold situations. Just don't put it over your head.

great for the bug out bag i'm putting together, hope to never need it but i pulled it out of the bag seems to be great for what i intend to use it for

Beware, this is basically an over-sized garbage bag. If your trees aren't close enough together, you're screwed. It is most likely more of a raincoat than a tent.
