Product Description
This innovative design uses a single pole Tent with a cross strut to maximize interior space while keeping weight and staking to a minimum. 2 twin track doors provide separate access for each person and twin vestibules keep equipment out of the rain. Mesh walls and roof allow for maximum air flow and great views when not using the rain fly. A full coverage rain fly provides ample protection from rain and adds wind resistance. The aluminum poles allow this tent to be used into the colder months.

I bought the Gigatent Yellowstone for backpacking based on it's weight (about 4 lbs) and size, not too bad for a "2 person" tent. Of course "2 person" seldom fits two adults, but I knew this and mainly wanted room for gear and myself. The tent did meet those qualified expectations, although they advertised that it came with aluminum tent pegs, they are actually steel (14 of them) weighing in at 14 ounces. they also say it is 7' long. If so I've grown taller. I laid in it and my head and feet nearly touch the sides, I'm 5'10". So if you're over 6', you may want something bigger. I contacted Gigatent about replacing the tent pegs, they informed me that they only use steel and could replace them, even though the tent box, the parts list and their on-line description clearly state they are aluminum. Since I only paid $49, I'll keep it and I have already replaced the pegs at my expense. Hopefully it won't leak in the rain!

not a completely bad product if you dont care about other tents out there that could be much more satisfying. For a two person it had enough room but it is not free standing meaning you need to hammer in the stakes in order for it to set up, the stakes are cheap and would probably bend after being used a couple times, and the fabric isnt all that great either. I didnt actually use it. I returned it because it wasnt ideal for backpacking. If you want to spend money on a tent for 2 buy the big agnes tents. Expensive, but pro status. oh yeah and the poles on the tent were the only nice thing about it. All packed up its about two feet across which would stick out to wide on a pack.
